well hi, this will be my first time to a lan so i has a few questions.

1. how do people share stuff to other people, like movies, and such and is porn aloud.
2. if there is a game that people are playing that i dont have, is there some were i can download it or get it off someone elses pc.
3. is there normal internet, or is it just lan.

Re question 3: No internet connection, apart from Steam. There's only just enough bandwidth for Steam logins as it is without a bazillion people checking their emails and downloading patches. Also if you try to download a game on Steam through that connection you'll incur the wraith of a thousand lousy admins.

Respawn does not provide any means of file sharing, except for our admin controlled FTP repository for the freeware funcomp games, game patches and updates, and any other relevant legal files.

if you dont already have these games you will not be about to download them from the lan
only thing u will be able to do is play free game such as armagetron and bb2

I'll answer these one by one for you... in english no less....

1. Respawn doesn't permit file sharing of any type except those we put on our controlled FTP server (ie: Game updates etc of legitimate games incase an update is released at the last minute I blame steam for not changing their update day from Friday to Thursday )

2. As someone else mentioned, there are alot of popular games (read up)

3. Internet is not there. We have it purely to allow steam login and that is it! (PS: There isnt a thousand lousy admins but there will be munity from your fellow gamers who cant login to steam, cant join games because the steam internet verification doesn't go through.
