well as the title suggests im looking at buying a new case,
it has to be lightweight so i can carry it around for LANNING and stuff like that
but it also has to be cool looking
and also has to be able to fit a decent amount of stuff
thanks

So far ive been told to look into getting a

Coolermaster 590
Antec 300
I have a 590, they rock.. although they (just like any other case) get heavy if you put heaps of stuff inside

Whatever you do, don't get a Antec P182. Love the case but with all the sound dampening, goddamn it's heavy as hell.

I've got the exact same case and I can relate. But damn it's a nice case.
Get a Lian Li case, um not sure which one, but they're good looking, lightweight and does the job as far as I know.

The options names and the text is very misleading... *ponders with TPA*
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_p...roducts_id=1434^^ Cheap lian Li - old gen V1000 Series - still alright though. Bit funky if you have a heatpipe motherboard though.
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_p...roducts_id=6591^^ Lian Li Im considering for my gaming case - small, lightweight, simple, yet effective. Can hold 6 drives and a few burners and the rest very comfortably from the looks. This case will replace my CM Elite POS.
Dont spend under $150-200 on a good case

i have an antec 900.
the guts of the thing are stupidly amazing.
the internal design is so clean and organised, ontop of that u get blue leds all over the shop.
pros/cons IMO.
pros:
1everything is easy as shit to organise, mad case extremist rganisation possiblities.
2hard drive cages are interchangeable at the front, u can move them around with the dvd drives etc.
3air flow goes liek this

[^^<<<<]
[<<<<<<] front.

------i clocked my e6850(3.00ghz) to 3.7 with a stock cooler.-----
4nothing in it, so its light.
5watercooling grommets.
6able to fit (just) 2x 4870 1gb in. reasonably big on the inside, amazingly small on the out.
7LOOKS COOL IMO
8CHEAP AS SHIT.
cons:
1psu down the bottom (i dont really mind it tbh, cept dust gets in the fan etc.)
2wud be noisey if u had noisey parts (mines quiet cos i picked out my parts specifically).
360% of people dont like the looks =\
4 not likely to fit dual cpu mobos in *sadface*
OVERALL: its fuckign awesome. dont get it cos then ull be copying me :DDDDD

antec 900 is shit. Most antec cases are just as shit. no cable management what so ever, no holes in motherboard for cable management, except the P182, and the thing looks so messy inside because its crampt and cables go everywhere. CM 690 is highly praised.

Well I just bought a new case for the rig I’m building. I got the Cooler Master Storm Scout. It’s a great case with plenty of ventilation and has a handle on the top for easy manoeuvring. It has a transparent side window and comes with three fans two of which are LED's (140mm Intake, 120mm Exhaust). It was kind of pricey I got it for 169 without a PSU but it’s around 150 now at CPL. Anyways here’s a picture for you.
