This is the often-out-of-date guide to internet at Respawn, current as of before v27.

As of a few events ago, we now have a semi-reliable connection to the internet. Semi-reliable in that it's not 100% guaranteed that we will be granted permission to use it every event forever, but it's definitely reliable in the forwards-your-packets-at-great-speed sense. We're confident enough that it will be an ongoing thing for the foreseeable future that we're doing internet-based competitions now, though!

General web browsing is allowed (HTTP and HTTPS). Do not abuse this privilege.

We will do our best to allow all games through the firewall. We operate on a whitelist basis. If you would like to play a game that is not presently allowed, then let us know. Lots of bonus points if you come to me with a list of UDP and TCP ports that the game needs.
