Ill be playing alot of Cod4 this lan i think also Quake 3, maybe come CS:S and if anyone is up for a zero hour match... well im in  Whos got some interesting, perhaps indie games ive never heard of thats fun to play at lans? OH... SOLDAT!

Who has heroes of might and magic V? I'm keen on getting that going, if nobody has that, I have an old copy of HOMM3 (might be 4, have to get the disk out)

i think that theres an issue with HOMM-V becuase of patching, but otherwise id have a game or few of it, would be interesting to see it in multiplayer HOMM-III was the other awesome one, IV didnt have much in it imo other games: War3 - definatly  Q3 TF2 COD4 FlatOut2 SOLDAT!!!! some RA(2) or Generals ? (i know theres batty-ness with netcode)

(i know theres batty-ness with netcode) Well there's 2 expansions out for the PC version. None for mac  However, as long as you can run v1.5 of HOMM-V you should be able to play over LAN. I'm technically running v1.52 iirc however when talking to other clients it idents itself as 1.50

ill have to try and find my install image, and see what it is, but ive got a strange feeling that its a UK image or something so it has issues patching, as it was one of the first relaeses of HOMM-V, bring an image of yours and patches too, that way we can share to other people if need be, and if mine feels like failing

Im PRETTY sure we need some epic Pirates Vikings and Knights II action.
Dead_man: I'd be up for natural selection but its crap with only a few players (i suppose CO could be alright, definatley not NS maps) and the learning curve is so steep that only people who actually know how to play would stay in.

i shall play soldat with u guys i used to be 100% leet at that game =] good bloodbath when on rambo on a small map as well i will playing a few othergames i have NS but i always got raped in it so yea ill be just a meat shield sadly and tf2 will be a bit of fun and other general games if people make servers and such

I will be playing: TF2, UT3, Flatout 2, COD4, CS:S if someone has WC3 mod running.
I want people to play with me: BF2, Fortress Forever (TFC mod for HL2, I miss grenades).
I have a bf2 dvd you can copy/borrow, legit too. Yay!

i love westwood, but so far have been unsucsessful with LAN on RA2
i'll bring C&C first decade, or is there something wrong with the multiplayer on that? i do have a couple of regular versions lying around for generals and RA2+YR.
if anyone can enlighten me to the answers to my dilemma, i would be most thankful.

For RA2 to work well on a lan you need to set up the following 1. IPX/SPX protocol installed on every machine playing 2. Disable ALL NIC's not directly connected to the network (you can play with the network settings in RA2 all you want, this is the most foolproof way of ensuring the game works crash free) 3. Not use vista (No IPX protocol support as far as i am aware, however VMWARE + an XP install would solve that problem) I would like to get a big game of RA2 happening, even Original RA (I have an install that works flawlessly on XP) Generals... unless we play a small game is a lost cause imo ... damn broken engine R4N

great, i have vista, how fun.
its not my choice btw, gives me the shits to no end. if anyone is willing to trust me with their computer, it would be greatly appreciated, since i havent played RA2 multi in about 5 years
