I would like to see this event at the next respawn!

I'm estimating at least 20 participants, maybe even up to 30-40. It would give a chance for the casual COD4 players to have a bit of fun and compete with the bit-more-serious COD4 players.

A simple prize such as a mouse pad would be nice too tongue.gif

So if you can squeeze this in the busy competition schedule, I'll be very grateful biggrin.gif

this sounds great. I do recall one Respawn we were meant to have a cod4 FFA comp...haha didnt happen though, so two comps for this game is much better. This gives a chance for the casual players to shine, it's also a more fun comp considering you dont need to be really serious..

Funny you should say that, actually.

We have run CoD4 GunGame numerous times in the past as a fun comp, if my memory serves me correctly.

I've put it on the list of FunComps to have next time, and I'll talk to DeadMan about it being a proper comp, but I don't think it will happen given we've already got CoD4 and CSS: GunGame on the line up - we need variety!

We have run a COD4 gungame server at respawn and im pretty sure we had a few playing it. id need to confirm with oohms on that since he monitors and takes care of all the COD4 server stuff.

ill look into it when i revamp the schedule and see what our timeframe is like.

in other words ill see what i can work out smile.gif

The last 2 respawns i've been playing around with a custom maps gungame server, but http redirect is a pain in the ass sometimes

Its real easy to set one up with stock maps, which i'll have up at v15
