Hey sneaky, To quote SirSquidness in the post Chairs (http://respawn.com.au/forums/index.php?showtopic=1092( QUOTE (SirSquidness @ Jan 22 2010, 11:43 PM) You are allowed to bring your own chairs.
If they are too big and obstruct walkways, then you will both be expected to exercise common sense and courtesy by not using it, and/or we will request you to remove it.
See you there Also, during a previous discussion, the general consensus was no to dual screens unless one of those screens is a laptop. Having said that, you get half a table length, so 2 screens would be pretty hard to fit on that unless one of them is on top of ur case, which is a pretty precarious position. (Yes, I did tax that off Patryn and change tenses.) Hope that helps you out, any other questions you have can probably be answered in The Jumbo Q&A thread (http://respawn.com.au/forums/index.php?showtopic=1184) or the guides on the main page (http://respawn.com.au/?page=guides)

One PC. One screen. One power point*. One network point.
As above, your own chairs are fine as long as they do not obstruct walkways or annoy surrounding players.
* For you to plug your power board in to

If you enjoy being shunted and nudged every 2 minutes by people walking down the already tight aisles, bring a big arse computer chair.

It does depend on the chair. If it's a normal sort of sized officeworks type chair, then you should be ok. If you decide to recline your chair, then have fun getting bumped and bashed and i will probably bonk you on the head as i go past for being a duffer and taking up space. If we are getting on the large side of chairs, then please use come common sense.
Dual screens? no. We supply you with a single power point, and a single network point for you to plug your power board with your SINGLE computer and SINGLE screen. Also you only get half a table, and unless you are bringing dual 17" screens, then you are going to annoy the heck out of the person sitting next to you. (even with dual 17" = no!)

For those that must have the extra screen real estate, I have found the answer: http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/usb-gadgets/bfa3/Perfect for playing tf2 while your main monitor is keeping track of your game of solitaire. Actually, that gives me an idea. Anyway, butt cushions are easiest, and can be used to cushion your monitor in-transit. As much as I'd love to bring my big comfy chair...

AND you can use it to have a nap on unless you had a giant bowl of baked beans for breakfast or something.....

Yeah, but only the RULES OF DONG apply to me. Also, if you want dual screens... I'm sure it would be ok if you checked with who ever you are sitting with first and paid 2 entry fees? So $60 entry fee + who ever sits next to you will think you're a dick Is it worth it?

I assume if you registered, confirmed, and paid for two seats, then you would be entitled to run two computers' worth of peripherals on your whole table worth of space. But when you left respawn you would be mugged by the 200+ people on the waiting list who couldn't get a single place, let alone two. So I don't think it would be worth it imho

So I don't think it would be worth it imho You would have to be registered as two people, confirmed as two people, in the top 500 as two people, pay for 2 people. and yes, that poor person at 501 will be very sad becuase you thought you needed your two screens to play games I've only ever had pc + laptop and that's cause i do check-ins, and someone else uses the laptop. The admins have multiple screens cause they will often be running so many comps or whatnot. Seriously, have a think, do you NEED two screens? really? it's jsut for one weekend!

The guy I sat next to last time had a 22" and a 19" with the 19" purely doing DC++ but on an angle, we fit both those and my 24" on the table fine.
