New rules up, please all read.

This is an important poll and I need everyone looking to rock up to the next lan to vote in it.

Option 1 essentially means we run them one after another as it states meaning that you'll still be playing in comps at 4am on a Sunday morning, not really fun its happened before.

Option 2 means that 1-2 comps will run one after another while other comps are going on at the same time which means YOU WILL HAVE TO CHOSE A COMP AND STICK WITH IT, instead of playing both DOTA and CS you will have to choose one or the other or possibly CS and COD4 or TF2 you will have to pick ONE comp to enter because others will be running at the same time, this options is the most likely one to happen by the way because its the best way to do things over all.

Option 3 means that half the comps will start all at the same time and when they are over the other half of the comps will start all at the same time.

Vote for the option that you would like to see happen, and remember you only have a month.

As Carona from Anything Interactive will be running the CS:S comp I cant give you a definite time but I'd think that you would want to be at the hall by 12pm at the latest.

There will be different person in charge of the CS:S comp so if he wants the format to be changed to MR10 then thats the way it shall be.

Though if you look at the rules it says maximum of 20 rounds, which I assume is MR10 instead of a maximum of 30 rounds which would cover MR15.

Spare TV's are not very likely, I'm not sure exactly whats going on with the consoles at the moment, considering the smaller nature of this event there may not be sufficient room, unless your sitting with a 360 and your PC hooked up to an LCD

You register your team using the EMS on the day of the event when you are all there, seat booking is not available but if you have a couple of members turn up before the rest you can speak to one of us admins and use your bags, gear etc to book spots next to each other you should be fine.

Be aware that alot of people are looking to come to this event so the earlier you get in the better.

We need to run the competitions at approximately the same time because of the amount of players who want to play in both. If we ran DOTA then CS:S the CS:S competition wouldnt finish till 6am Sunday morning unless we ran a single elimination competition which isnt something the majority of people want to play. The only way to get the CS:S and DOTA comps done on the Saturday is to run them at the same time due to the numbers involved.

The network is fully gigabit, we dont pay for our switches we are provided them by sponsorship and awesome mates so I really would reccomend not bothering brining a 8 port gig switch seeing as how the network will be running off 24 port gig switchs with fibre uplinks.

It wont, Quake Wars has been delayed by Activision for release accross the globe, probably not till the end of the year or possibly next year.

We dont do seat bookings as there is no way to incorporate them into the floor plan of the hall at this stage, best thing I can suggest is get there early enough on a saturday to pick out the seats that you want, probably around 11-12pm would be early enough depending on the situation.

CS:S should start on Saturday afternoon around 4-5pm with a break around 8pm ish for the pizza run and then we'll continue the competition after dinner. I'd suggest you turn up earlier though, around 12pm at the latest so you can set up your pc play a few maps etc as well as sign up for the competition and organise your team.
