Respawn is proud to announce a few of the cash prizes for our upcoming event.
The remainder of the prizes will be announced closer to the event.

I thought Quake 3 was going to be a major comp? What happened? I dont see how games like HAWX and TF2 get cash prizes but Quake doesn't ... :S

Sorry tf2? Are you high lol. Tf2 deserves a cash prize more than quake 3 tbh. I guess thats why the prize is bigger too. However i reiterate its a little :S that it went down.

High? No, TF2 is just a horrid competitive game is all. Glad Respawn has come to start using Quake 3 as a major comp and hope it continues to do so. Also happy to see atleast one decent team game (CSS) is on that list. Kudos to Respawn.

I think that weather a game is good, or not, is something depending on one's own opinion. I, for one, like both CSS AND TF2. We run a TF2 competetion becuase last time we got 75 players or something, which is a large amount of people interested in the game. You, personally, may not think it's so crash hot, but then we are not forcing you to play, are we? We, here at Respawn, are basically interested in the community, and what they want to play. And seeing ~75 people wantint got play it in competetion is a fairly strong sign. We also recieved a lot of people asking for a Quake3 comp, which is why we've added it to the major comp list and gaven it a cash prize. And we do have a fairly equitable prize for Q3 to TF2.

I guess what i'm trying to say is.... just come along and have a damned good time, cause that's the whole flipping point
