It was fairly obvious to about 8-10 of us during a CS:S game that someone was using hacks. When an admin started looking around he magically went from a 18-3 score to 18-8 score and was missing shots.

He was obviously walling and i even heard in 'chat chat' that someone saw someone toggle on walls.

I think it should be made very clear to participants before they enter that if they use any cheats in games, they will be kicked out?

Any thoughts?

I am sure if it was in a Comp it would have been dealt with swiftly. No it was in open gaming, but regardless, we are there to have fun, not to have cheating little kids using wall hacks.

I don't see why a Comp and open play is any different anyway.

Just in addition, i am 90% sure the persons clan DID compete in the CS:S comp.

As far as I'm aware, the gaming and servers team have been very clear in the "no cheating" rules. If you have a demo of it and the details, can you let one of the core admin team know about it? And provide all the details like you would if you were reporting a cheater in any of the public servers on the internet?

That way the admin team can review the demo you've provided and in an infraction has happened they can speak to the person in question?

i think that there is a clause in the terms of service for this. but considering most people don't read it, it is understandable that this needs attention.

Last time I tried hacking my CS:S closed. You guys get this problem too? Try pressing F10 for wall hacks and shit closes.

Here is the last word...

Cheating is prohibited, if the server, comps team see it, they will take action.

If you see it happening, take a demo and speak to a Respawn Admin!

I will close this thread before it comes to pointless trolling and arguments as it really detracts from the event.
