I'd imagine it'd be Sat Afternoon/Evening as Usual... Better check with an Admin though

Hi,

At what time do you guys need to leave? We plan on finishing up around midday Sunday for the CS:S comp however if the demand is sufficient, we can run it earlier at the expense of clan's sleep.

This also depends on all clans who are competing getting there reasonably early on Saturday.

i had an idea for an AFK comp at midnight - 1am. see who can shout "kiai" the loudest.
it should wake up anybody who is trying to sleep and also disturb any perverts who may be masturbating to freshly downloaded porn.

for those that dont know; a 'kiai' is a shout that is used to surprise an opponent. you shout kiai as loud as you can when you punch/kick the person..

Hi I also have another question.

I found one of the biggest problems at 3xtreme lan was that any practice scrims had to be run off a players box, eventhough this is not really 3xtremes problem, I was wondering if it would be possible for respawn to supply a couple of servers for clans to use before the comp war begins.

If this isn't possible I might see if it possible to organise some of the clans to organise it.

if we dont have a spare server i can run a server off my box.

Just to confirm - the answer is YES.

Just give us a yell when you arrive and we'll sort it out. This also means we get a chance to double check our configs and make sure that they're correct so that comps are not delayed.

We can definately run practice servers for you guys, and as Zardoz has said it would be a great chance to test the war and server configs.

The comp will run on the Saturday and we were looking to run the final on the Sunday, but this can be changed to Saturday night as well depending on numbers/how long the comp takes.
