Hello

Update: The format has changed. Afternoon is now a misonomer - the event will take place in the evening on Wednesdays and Thursdays

I will do Arcade on Wednesday and Sim on Thursday, because there is not enough hours in the evening to fit both.

There is no start time: I will make an announcement over Respawn IRC channel and if you are there at the time, great. smile.gif As a general rule, it will not be before 7pm.

  • Flatout 2
  • GRID
  • DIRT2*
  • GTR Evolution
  • rFactor
  • F1 2010*
  • iRacing (Note: from what I have been told, this may be too professional orientated)


*Note from Ezkaton: "For DiRT2 and F1 2010, any interested players will need to post their Games For Windows Live ID, for an overall less painful experience... as the GFWL friends system is used to invite players to hosted multiplayer games."

Please add them to this thread.

Announcements will also be made over the Respawn IRC Channel:

For DiRT2 and F1 2010, any interested players will need to post their Games For Windows Live ID, for an overall less painful experience... as the GFWL friends system is used to invite players to hosted multiplayer games.

LOVE iRacing... but with its subscription service, I can't imagine enough people around here would be interested in investing that much time and money into a racing sim.

I'd be willing to go as far to say I'm the only person here, to be honest.
But it's good to see it on the list as a potential possibility regardless.

I'd say that's all the general important racers around at the moment.

Due to lack of interest this afternoon, the afternoon racing has been cancelled.

Connex apologises for any inconvenience caused.

I should probably consider running 1 game on a weekday, in the evening.

I'd have been down for F1 2010, but I didn't get home until 5pm or so.
Sunday isn't good for me unless it's after 5pm.

I'm available to play after 5pm Sunday to Thursday.

I am seeking comment regarding the appropriate time to run this.

Arcade racing on Wednesday evenings, and Sim racing on Thursday Evenings, both starting at 7pm sound like a good start?

Seems to be the best strategy, but I also was thinking of a general time people would be available to play. I will try next Wednesday (24th of November).

I won't be around on the 25th for sim racing... that's the day Gran Turismo 5 comes out, so I'll be off playing that. biggrin.gif
