What voltages you got your Q6600 set to? I wouldn't mind trying to get to 3.2ghz, I've got fairly good temps and I've barely raised the voltage.

Try http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/244665-2...ers-q6600-specs

Has a large supply of voltages for 3.2+ on air cooling

I've got a coolermaster geminii CPU cooler which does the job really well so I can afford to overclock and make the temps go up just a bit. I'll have a read on that, thanks.

My new rig. biggrin.gif

CPU: i7-920 @ 2.66GHz
RAM: 6gb 1600MHz
GPU: HIS Radeon HD 5850
HDD: 1 x 1.5TB
Case: Thermaltake Soprano DX
PSU: Antec TruePower Quattro 850W
M/B: Asus P6T
OS: Windows 7 Professional
Monitor: 19" BenQ FP92W

At the moment, my mouse, keyboard and speakers are just some el cheapo Logitech ones which I shall upgrade when I'm not so poorly... I've got my eyes on a nice 24" monitor to go with the one I have now too. wink.gif

Oh, I've got some cold cathodes in there too, because lighting does in fact matter to me. I'll get some pics up when my camera is charged.
