honestly i liked the idea of Hotdogs, Pies, Baked good etc but i didn't really think they were needed, it's not hard to head down to a shop. But of course if the interest is there then it's worth while
EDIT: I LOVE THE IDEA OF MINI DEODERANT CANS

soulink Nobody mentioned this following the last event and the majority seemed fairly happy. I'll talk to the team and speak to the store we used to discuss this. Realistically I don't see this changing.
Things to bare in mind, the $6.50 dominos pizza is PICK UP not DELIVERED. The $8 price includes delivery for us. And at last check (being an ex-dominos manager, the 6.50 price is usually a coupon'd price which has a limit of like 5, not 100)

Meh quantity over quality debate; I was happier to buy two rather than none.
Don't forget it's Saturday night, aren't the cheaper coupons like Monday to Thursday

dArenberg: Some are, some arent. I know occasionally we've have our CRAZY weekends and offer pick up at $3.95 to draw interest to the business. I know... SUPER CRAZY but hey. It varies from offer to offer, store to store, coupon to coupon. that said guys, you are in no way FORCED to order our pizza! But this is the super awesome deal we offer you

@Jeffy: do you think the domino staff get pissed off having to make 100 pizzas in one hit? If so, how many time would they spit on them? Just so i can work out the percentages

im just saying, like anything u buy in this world, the more you buy the more profit the busines makes, hence why u can normally haggle prices a bit so say we keep the price at $8 but made em large.
8 * 100 = $800
so we pay 6.50 each = $650 for all the pizzas
Now normally they charge u like 5 bucks to deliver ONE DELIVERY
One guy comes to deliver them all they make $150 just for delivering....
So if u think about it i think the pizzaz could be large for same price....
just thought i would have my 2c!!

At the same time soulink, someone (I believe it is Zardoz) gives the appropriate pizza place advance notice so that they can put extra staff members on for that night.
That (despite not being $150 worth) is still an extra expense for that business. Not only that, but they make more than a single delivery to the venue, that is why the pizzas are handed out to the hungry masses in groups

just thought i would have my 2c!! Soulink, Yes we do negotiate a price. Which is $8 per pizza. The $6.50 price is not available on a mass order with delivery. We have discussed this with both Dominos and Pizza Hut at great length. They are not prepared to reduce the cost any further as they have additional labour costs to deliver on our large order. Your maths is also slightly out. $5 delivery fee doesn't apply PER PIZZA, it's per delivery. Hence why the first pizza on a small delivery like 2 pizzas is $14.95 (because it includes the fee) then after that it's like $8.95 per pizza. But we don't pay a delivery fee on a 100 pizzas because its a negotiated delivery with the store.
