Hi all, So for next time i'm willing to bring in a dancemat and even a projector if room permits for some random ddr fun, doesn't need to be a comp. Unfortionately the dance mats break easily even though it will be a steel one, so if the admins would be willing to put a deposit up in case of panels getting broken (something like 20 bucks) and if it doesn't get broken everyone's happy How many ppl would be interested in having a go and can we get an admin backing this up? (kitfox i'm looking at u in specific) Cheers, Primoz

Aight I'll prob still bring it just worried about damage so access might be a bit limited. Does anyone else have one so we can have duels?

Lol prim in not an actual admin, i just run the sc stuff n help out deadman wherever i can. Plus guni is right P.S: I'm all down for a ddr comp with mat, OR a stepmania comp with your keyboard, but if you break your leg on the dancemat respawn should not be held accountable, so you may have to fill out forms or some shit

There is a limit of liability clause in the EMS and when you register (I know many of you scroll down until you see "I AGREE"). But thats where it would apply. OP: I've never seen anything damaged (I even brought my TV & Wii and they survived JUST fine. You just have to arrange to sit near the DDR matt so you can keep an eye on it. As SirSquid said, space is very tight at the minute so I don't know where you could even set that up...

The problem with the front near the admin desk, is i am going to hear eurobeat and jpop trash for 36 straight hours. So no. The back would be more likely

Thanks R4N for volunteering where to put it, because to be damned if I know where it will go if it's that freaking big! Maybe we can use Zardoz sleeping space for it instead?

If you are still looking for someone to help organize it I can definatley help. How long are you wanting to have things set up? also you should keep in mind that some people might not be very... um... plesent to sit next to after a heated DDR off. Maybe if we are going to do it we should do it some time between when it gets cold and when people go to sleep. https://www.cobaltflux.com/xcart/popup_imag...-kit&area=CIf i can get it into a car from Bendigo i can bring my mat just a case of getting it there and back. i would be more than happy to help out with what i can. Do you want to hook it up to your pc with speakers or did you have something else in mind?

Hey, Having a 2nd mat would be awesome! i'm just getting mine reinforced now As for setup yes i would have it plugged into computer with speakers, most likely my own, but depending on circumstances i could get it all set up elsewhere. I agree that ddr and the heat don't mix well, and i somehow don't think people will be very happy during the night when they're trying to sleep. Perhaps in the early morning? I suppose ppl who want to play should bring a change of clothes or at least deoderant, but they should know that already R4N, u clearly have not heard enough jpop and eurobeat to like it, so we will have to set up near you.

I have two mats for a PC, but they're just mats not reinforced or anything. If you can't find any others I can bring them (I don't really care if they break), plus I still have my stepmania tracks knocking around somewhere - I can bring those, too.

Due to one awesome person in particular (<3 you peach) my dance mat will be making it to respawn v19. I'm not sure where we can set it up yet as it does take up more than just one PC's space and it will not fit in the isle. Have you reserved a seat Prim? If so where abouts are you? As a side note i have managed to get the networked side of this game up and running. If you want to play a networked game there should be a server up at respawn (i still have to get this sorted with a certian Squidlywinks) but if you would like to pre-download/configure the networked stepmania for yourself I will be using version 3.95 (2005 build): www.orbitoid.net/stepmania/stepmania_orbit.rar And when we use the dance mats this is my fav version: http://www.stepmania.com/download.php?file...nia4-alpha5.exe

Yo, i'm reserved under That_Commander, bottom centre area. I'll bring some usb extensions so we can go a bit further from the walking areas, more appreciated. I'll download and try that version n stuff, didn't realise you could multiplayer without hotseat - do this support more than two players at a time then? Thanks for the support. Just to reiterate i got 1 mat, its reinforced, tho it does make some noise if stepped on incorretly (usually if use your heel)
